The Titans made a strong first-round pick by selecting JC Latham, an offensive tackle who is expected to start right away. Latham’s talent shows promise, and his ability to play the left tackle position in the NFL will be closely watched. Although the Titans may have reached with some of their later picks, landing Cedric Gray in the fourth round has the potential to be a steal for the team. However, overall, the draft class lacks excitement unless T’Vondre Sweat can develop into a pass rusher.
The favorite pick of the draft was JC Latham, who was originally considered for the fifth overall pick. Latham’s talents in the run game and protection will be an asset to the team alongside Will Levis, Calvin Ridley, and DeAndre Hopkins.
