In Cleveland, José Ramírez homered in the eighth inning to help lead the Guardians to a 4-1 victory over the Red Sox. Tyler Freeman and Bryan Rocchio also contributed RBIs in the seventh inning as Cleveland continued their impressive start to the season. In Mineral Ridge, Jack Gillie earned the win on the mound as they defeated McDonald 8-7. Belle O’Brien tossed a no-hitter, hit a home run, and drove in four RBIs as McDonald shut out Mineral Ridge 21-0.
