The S.P.A.R.K.S. Foundation is excited to announce the second annual Swings for Science, Birdies for Blankets event at Sittler Golf in Sinking Spring from June 7 to 9. This family-friendly event offers a variety of activities for all ages, including mini-golf tournaments, challenges, driving range contests, delicious food, ice cream, beer trucks and more from 10 am to 8 pm each day.
The highlight of the weekend will be the second annual Oakbrook Open presented by Oakbrook Brewing on Saturday night at 6:30 pm with cash prizes for top competitors. Registration is required for the mini-golf tournament, but all other activities are open to the public. Along with fun and games, attendees can also participate in hands-on science projects that provide a unique learning experience while having a great time. Each activity throughout the weekend supports the missions of the S.P.A.R.K.S Foundation and Blankets of Hope Berks within the community
Swings for Science, Birdies for Blankets provides an opportunity for the community to come together and support these important causes in multiple ways – whether playing mini-golf or participating in a tournament; hitting balls at the driving range; buying raffle tickets; or making a donation – there’s something for everyone!
