Latrelle Tomlin, Certified Nurse Assistant at Hospice of South Georgia and Langdale Hospice House, has been awarded the April Being Extraordinary Every day (BEE) Award by SGMC Health. Tomlin was recognized for her exceptional positivity and teamwork, qualities that have made her a valuable member of the health system for over four years.
Tomlin is known for stepping up to help cover weekend shifts when her coworkers need assistance. She also maintains a positive and flexible attitude when new processes are implemented at work. Emily Hydrick, Nurse Manager at SGMC Health, praised Tomlin for her dedication and support. Hydrick stated that Tomlin is a valuable team member and that her care for patients at Hospice of South Georgia is greatly appreciated.
The BEE Award is given monthly to staff members who play a crucial role in patient care, such as patient care technicians, nursing assistants, and medical assistants. The award criteria include qualities like compassion, teamwork, leadership, attitude, and skills and knowledge.
