Nearly 900 middle and high school students from 80 teams across the state are set to compete in the Montana Science Olympiad State Tournament, which will take place on Friday, April 19th, at Montana State University. Among the participating teams are Conrad Middle School and Chinook Middle School, located within the New Media Broadcasters listening area.

Students from schools all over Montana form teams to compete in the Montana Science Olympiad. Pairs or trios of students compete in individual events, with the opportunity to earn medals. The school with the highest cumulative score will be crowned the state champion. The winning team will have the chance to compete at the national tournament held at Michigan State University later in the spring.

This event showcases the dedication and talent of students in the STEM fields, providing them with an opportunity to test their skills and knowledge in a competitive environment. The Montana Science Olympiad State Tournament is a great way for students to engage in hands-on learning and collaborate with their peers from different schools. It promises to be an exciting and rewarding experience for all participants.
