Science on State Street is an annual science festival hosted by Framingham State University at the Christa McAuliffe Center in collaboration with the MetroWest STEM Education Network. The event focuses on themes related to planet Earth, showcasing how science, technology, engineering, and math support environmental justice, renewable energy, and sustainability efforts.
The free community event is open to all ages and will take place on Saturday, April 27 from Noon to 3 p.m. at the McAuliffe Center and O’Connor Hall parking lot. Visitors can explore various exhibits and activities that highlight the intersection of science and environmental issues.
Exhibitors at this year’s event include MIT Lincoln Labs, offering a table on building a lightsaber, Boston Scientific with an interactive human body exhibition, MathWorks demonstrating the Power of AI, and the U.S. Army DEVCOM Soldier Center providing information on STEM professionals’ contributions to soldier protection. There will be additional booths and activities for visitors to enjoy.
