AMC Theatres has appointed Stephanie Tierney as Vice President of distribution, following the success of their recent music events like Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé. In her new role, Tierney will collaborate with the music industry to create innovative projects and develop customized distribution strategies and marketing campaigns to engage fans.
Kevin Arnold has also been promoted to Vice President of programming promotions & partnerships for AMC’s distribution venture. Alongside Nikkole Denson-Randolph, he will work to bring more leading music artists to the big screen through AMC Theatres Distribution.
Last year, AMC Theatres disrupted the Hollywood studio system by distributing films like Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Beyoncé’s Renaissance. These ventures grossed over $261.6 million and $43.9 million respectively, opening doors for movie theater operators to take on the role of a distributor.
Prior to her role at AMC, Tierney worked at Fandango leading the integrated marketing team, where she gained valuable experience in partner marketing for various brands. Her expertise in this area will be a valuable asset in her new role at AMC Theatres.
