Rebecca Sinclair, Penguin Random House’s chief brand officer, and Nicole Vanderbilt, Bookshop.org’s UK managing director, have been appointed to the World Book Day trustee board. Emma Scott, chair of World Book Day, expressed her delight in welcoming Rebecca and Nicole to the board.

She underscored the urgency of the charity’s work in light of these trends. Vanderbilt shared her excitement at becoming a trustee for World Book Day, emphasizing the personal significance of the charity’s mission to promote children’s reading for pleasure.
