The Women Abundance Collective recently hosted a networking event at the Santa Monica Proper Hotel in Los Angeles, attracting around 200 attendees. This event, catered towards high-net-worth female investors, aimed to introduce participants to the sports asset class while also highlighting opportunities within women’s sports. Keynote speaker Kara Nortman, co-founder of Angel City and managing partner at Monarch Collective, discussed her own experiences in women’s sports investing and emphasized the growth potential within the industry. A panel discussion followed, featuring prominent figures such as AMI GALANI, Gabby Reece, Carol Stiff, and Kate Veronneau, focusing on the progress made in women’s sports, storytelling around female athletes, and the bright future ahead for women’s teams and leagues.
