Wayzata High School senior golfer Sacchi Deshmukh is the standout student-athlete of this week’s CCX Sports Spotlight. Deshmukh has been a member of the Trojans’ varsity golf team since seventh grade and consistently ranks in the top six lineup. She is currently ranked second in the state by the Minnesota Golf Association and finished sixth at the class AAA state tournament last year.
Deshmukh’s achievements on the golf course are just one aspect of her multifaceted talent. She is also an accomplished violinist and a vital member of the Wayzata High School orchestra. Her dedication to both her athletic and academic pursuits showcases her commitment to excellence, and she excels academically as well.
Deshmukh plans to further her education at the University of Texas, where she intends to pursue a degree in chemical engineering.
