The Palestinian Authority denied full membership in the United Nations due to US veto

Three weeks ago, the Security Council adopted a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza during Ramadan and the unconditional release of all abductees. Fourteen countries voted in favor of the decision, while the United States chose not to use their veto power. The UN Security Council emphasized the urgent need to increase aid to Gaza and demanded the removal of all obstacles to aid transfer.

The foreign minister welcomed this decision and congratulated the United States on their actions. However, it was noted that even six months after the October 7th massacre, the Security Council failed to condemn the crimes of Hamas. There will be no tolerance for terrorism, and Israel will continue to fight until Hamas falls and all Israeli abductees are released.
