The UFL’s ratings for Week 3 of the league’s inaugural season had a mix of positive and negative outcomes. The games played on April 13 and 14 generated varying levels of viewership, with one of the highlights being the exciting game between D.C. and Arlington, although the audience on ESPN for that game was only 534,000. Meanwhile, the Fox game between Memphis and Birmingham attracted a higher audience of 837,000 viewers.
On Sunday, two back-to-back games aired on ABC, coinciding with the final round of the Masters. Despite low attendance at both events, the Houston-Michigan game secured an average viewership of 974,000, while the St. Louis Battlehawks defeating the San Antonio Brahmas drew in 1.023 million viewers.
With seven weeks remaining in the UFL’s regular season, the league is likely aiming for more successful days like Sunday where viewership was higher and less like Saturday where numbers were lacking. As the season progresses, the UFL will be looking to build on its momentum and engage more fans with captivating games and competitive matchups.
