Maurice Demond Davis was found guilty of murder and felon in possession of a firearm after an argument at a Tuskegee business. The Macon County jury deliberated for just 53 minutes before returning a verdict. Davis is set to be sentenced on May 9, with the prosecution seeking to have him sentenced as a habitual offender due to his prior felonies.
