FitWit, also located in Decatur, is a fitness center owned by Josh Guerrieri. Members of FitWit appreciate the caring trainers and sense of community at the gym, with many stating that it has positively impacted their lives. FitWit was ranked No. 3 in the fitness category.
Empanadas & More in Valdosta, owned and managed by Alberto Sanchez, made it to the list ranking No. 3 in the food category. People are reportedly willing to drive long distances to enjoy their delicious empanadas. The family-run restaurant takes pride in serving quality food and creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Yelp selects the top 10 local businesses in 10 different categories annually based on customer reviews. To be considered local by Yelp’s standards, businesses must be independently owned and operated. The ranking is determined by various factors and only one business per state is included in each category to ensure geographic diversity
