On May 2nd, GreenSeam will be hosting a workshop at the St. James Golf Course in St. James. The goal of the workshop is to connect agricultural-related businesses with the resources they need to start or grow their business locally.
The workshop will feature a variety of speakers and presentations, including University of Minnesota Extension Educator Neil Linscheid, who will discuss critical variables for business success in the county. Jeff Stamp, inventor of the Lays Baked potato chip and professor of entrepreneurship at the U of M, will also be speaking, sharing insights on the six problems all entrepreneurs must solve.
In addition to these presentations, a panel of local business success stories will be presented, featuring companies like Romsdahl Companies, Winegar Inc, and Berry Pallets. These companies will share their experiences and provide attendees with valuable lessons and tips for starting and growing their own businesses.
The workshop will conclude with a work session where attendees can ask questions, access regional resources, and connect with the local Economic Development. This is an opportunity for attendees to network with community leaders and gain valuable tools to take their business to the next level.
