Snoop Dogg has teamed up with an alcohol brand to put his name on the Arizona Bowl in what will be the first collaboration between an alcohol brand and a college bowl game. The event will be known as the “Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl Presented by Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop” and is scheduled for Dec. 28 at Arizona Stadium. The game will feature teams from the Mountain West Conference and Mid-American Conference.
The digital media company Barstool previously sponsored the bowl game. Gin & Juice is the first product from Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s new premium spirits company, named after Snoop’s 1994 hit song. In a video shared on social media, Snoop Dogg expressed his desire to bring the focus back to the core elements of college football, such as the colleges, players, competition, community, fan experience, and pageantry. He emphasized the importance of supporting the players and the overall spirit of the game.
As someone who has been involved in football at various levels, including sending players through his Snoop Youth Football League to colleges and the NFL, Snoop Dogg believes it is essential to maintain the integrity and essence of college football. The partnership between Snoop Dogg and the Arizona Bowl aims to provide a unique and exciting experience for college football fans and commemorate the traditions of the sport.
