Shoe Tree Brewing Wins Silver Medal at World Beer Cup

In 2024, Shoe Tree Brewing Company was awarded a silver medal in the World Beer Cup competition. The ceremony took place on April 24th at The Venetian in Las Vegas, where awards were given out for 110 different beer-style categories.

Shoe Tree Brewing Co., located in Carson City, is a 7-bbl brewpub that takes pride in brewing both classic and inventive beers. This year, their Lahontan Brown beer was recognized in the American-Style Brown Ale category. Lahontan Brown is a dark brown beer with notes of caramel, chocolate, and balanced hops.

The World Beer Cup competition is known as “The Olympics of Beer,” acknowledging international brewing excellence. This year’s winners were chosen by an international panel of 280 beer judges from 37 countries, who evaluated a total of 9,300 entries from 2,060 breweries and 50 countries.
