Taylor Pendrith had an unforgettable day as he clinched his first PGA Tour victory at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. Ben Kohles and Alex Noren also gave strong performances, finishing second and third, respectively, at TPC Craig Ranch. Pendrith’s win means he will be competing in the final three signature events of the season, including the Wells Fargo Championship, Memorial Tournament, and Travelers Championship. In addition to Pendrith, Kohles and Noren also earned spots in the Wells Fargo Championship through the Aon Swing 5 rankings.
The top five players who accumulated the most points from the Corales Puntacana Championship, Zurich Classic, and Nelson were Pendrith, Kohles, Noren, Billy Horschel, and Kevin Tway. These players qualified for the upcoming tournaments based on their combined point totals. Tournament winners are prioritized in the Aon Swing 5 and Next 10 categories.
