Warner Bros. Television Group chairman/CEO Channing Dungey is set to return to the Banff World Media Festival in June as one of its keynote speakers. The festival, which takes place from June 9 to June 12, 2024, at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta, Canada, will feature a lineup that includes Fox Entertainment CEO Rob Wade as a summit series keynote speaker.
Dungey’s influence spans scripted, unscripted, and animated series for streaming platforms, cable, and broadcast networks as part of Warner Bros. TV Group. He is well-known for his expertise and insights that shape the future of the entertainment industry. Executive director of Banff, Jenn Kuzmyk expressed her delight in welcoming Dungey back as a keynote speaker at this year’s event.
Past Summit Series keynote speakers have included industry figures like Jeffrey Katzenberg, Paula Kerger, Pearlena Igbokwe, Bela Bajaria, Ted Sarandos, and Maverick Carter. This year’s festival will feature behind-the-scenes master classes and over 1,200 networking opportunities for attendees. Additionally, new segment called “Soundtrack” focusing on music on screen will be introduced alongside topics such as international financing co-production technology AI social media and more than 25 thousand industry related meetings.
The Rockie Awards International Program Competition and Rockies Gala are also still expected to be held during this year’s event.
