The owner of the Vorpal Gaming building in Knox, Indiana is facing growing debt due to a combination of factors. According to WKVI, the Knox Board of Public Works has fined the owner for failing to appear at public hearings regarding the property, even after multiple requests. Last week, the board decided to impose a $2,500 fine for non-compliance.

In addition to being fined, Mayor Dennis Estok of Knox explained that the city had to cover the cost of cleaning up the property last year when the owner failed to do so. Additionally, the owner did not pay a $5,000 civil penalty, resulting in a total debt owed to the city of $24,615.95. While there is a lien on
