Niantic has recently launched an updated avatar customization system for Pokemon Go, giving players more options to personalize their in-game characters. The new update allows players to replicate their appearance with new body build options, facial expressions, and hairstyles. This update is part of the first of three major updates aimed at helping players rediscover the augmented reality mobile game launched by Niantic in 2016.
The focus of this update is on the avatar customization system, which now provides players with new and expanded options to express their style and individuality. Players can now adjust their body constitution by modifying weight, muscles, and parts such as the shoulders, chest, and hips. Additionally, there are advanced options for skin tone, hair color, and eye color.
Players will also have access to new facial expressions and hairstyles, with options categorized by length (Short, Medium or Long). Niantic plans to further update the game map based on the player’s location and introduce a new instant photography experience. The company aims to keep players engaged and excited about the game by continuously introducing updates that enhance the overall gameplay experience.
