Jessica Casano-Antonellis, who has been a senior vice president of communications at SiriusXM, has resigned to take on the role of senior vice president of communications at the new sports joint venture established by Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery. In her new position, she will be responsible for all communications tasks and will be a part of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to CEO Pete Distad.
Prior to this new venture, Casano-Antonellis held the position of senior vice president of communications at SiriusXM. She has also served as vice president of communications for Disney+ and Hulu and head of global communications for Vimeo, a video-sharing platform. With her experience in direct-to-consumer streaming, Distad believes that Casano-Antonellis will be a valuable asset as they work to launch the new streaming service in the fall.
Casano-Antonellis is excited to join the venture at this critical stage and participate in its development. She recognizes the opportunity to be part of a project from its inception and is eager to work towards launching it successfully.
