Kentucky Shines in U.S. News & World Report’s Annual List of Top Public High Schools

When it comes to determining the best places to live in America, there are a variety of factors to consider. These include population, cost of living, education, and crime rates. With so many data-driven platforms constantly changing, it’s important to stay informed on the latest updates.

One such platform is U.S. News & World Report, which recently reviewed nearly 25,000 public high schools across the country to compile an annual list of the best schools. By utilizing standardized testing results, graduation rates, College Board and International Baccalaureate exam data, as well as information from the U.S. Department of Education, rankings were determined. Kentucky had over 200 schools make the cut, highlighting the state’s dedication to education.

In Kentucky, there were 226 schools that made U.S. News & World Report’s list of the best public high schools in the state. Some of the top schools included DuPont Manual High School and J. Graham Brown School in Louisville, Highlands High School in Fort Thomas, and Atherton High School in Louisville. Other notable schools on the list were Pikeville High School, South Oldham High School
