Exile Brewing Co. Takes Silver Medal for G.G. at the World Beer Cup

The World Beer Cup recently announced its 2024 winners, with an Iowa brewer taking home a prestigious prize. This competition is considered the “Olympics of beer competitions,” as it is the largest and most esteemed beer competition globally. The event honors gold, silver, and bronze medalists across 110 beer styles.

Exile Brewery Co., located in Des Moines, claimed a silver medal for its Munich-style dunkel beer known as G.G. Exile faced off against 65 other beers from various countries in the competition. Blind Tiger Brewery & Restaurant in Topeka, Kansas secured the gold medal for its Munich Dunkles, while Sturdy Shelter Brewing in Batavia, Illinois earned the bronze for its Wilson Street Dunkel.
