The top two teams from this event, concluding on May 7, will secure the spots for the tournament. Australia will kick off their title defense against the qualifier in their group on October 4th at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
The ICC recently released the draws, groups and complete schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. Australia has won six out of nine titles in this tournament since its inception in 2009 and they are determined to continue their winning streak. Inaugural champions England (2009) and West Indies (2016) are also looking forward to competing once again for the championship trophy.
The semi-finals of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 are set for October 17th and 18th with the final taking place at Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium on October 20th.
