Local News: Pioneer Valley Students Embark on Business Technology Field Trip to LA Museum

A group of 30 students from the Business Technology Department at Pioneer Valley High School recently went on a field trip to the California Science Center in Los Angeles on April 11. During their visit, the students were able to explore different sections of the museum, including Air and Space Travel, Life and Biology, and Ecosystems. The common theme throughout the exhibits was how technology affects the world through human inventions and innovations.

The interactive exhibits at the museum allowed the students to have a hands-on experience and gain insight into how the world works. This helped them envision their future educational aspirations and potential career paths. Additionally, the students were treated to a 3-D IMAX movie titled “Cities of the Future” in the center’s theater, which explored how science and technology are shaping cities globally.

After their visit, many students shared positive feedback about their experience at the museum. Student Modesto Lopez was particularly impressed with seeing aircraft hanging from the roof and expressed his desire to return in the future. Student Andrea Cruz Marin enjoyed touching starfish in a fish tank while student Alexander Valentin found both IMAX movie viewing experience as well as being in Los Angeles to be enjoyable experiences. Derek Ferate mentioned that he enjoyed interacting with different peers during this trip and exploring attractions such as high-tech IMAX movie theater and petting starfish at aquarium.

Overall, student Abel Rodriguez described his experience as a “10 out of 10,” emphasizing that it had a positive impact on him and his peers. The visit to California Science Center enriched their understanding of scientific concepts while also allowing them to bond with their peers over a fun and educational outing.

In conclusion, thirty students from Pioneer Valley High School’s Business Technology Department had an unforgettable field trip experience at California Science Center in Los Angeles on April 11th. They were able to explore various sections of museum including Air & Space Travel, Life & Biology, Ecosystems while learning about how technology has impacted our world through human inventions & innovations. Many students shared positive feedback about their visit stating they gained insights into future educational aspirations & potential career paths through engaging with interactive exhibits
