A search is currently underway by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for a missing 71-year-old man named Billy Kearse in Gaffney, South Carolina. Last seen on Tuesday morning, Kearse was wearing a green shirt and blue pants while walking along Ann’s Trail near Scruggs Trail with his small Chihuahua dog. He had planned to go fishing but disappeared without a trace.
Deputies have stated that Kearse has certain health concerns, including a tracheotomy and the use of a voice box amplifier. He stands at 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with shoulder-length gray hair. Additionally, he has a tattoo on his left upper arm that reads “Jennie.”
