The Bills have made another addition to their team by signing wide receiver Quintez Cephus to a one-year contract. Cephus, who stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs 202 pounds, was originally from Macon, Georgia, and played college football at Wisconsin before being selected by the Detroit Lions in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. During his time with the Lions, he recorded 37 receptions, 568 receiving yards, and four touchdowns.
Cephus brings a diverse skill set to the Bills’ receiving corps and was among the players suspended by the NFL last year for violating the league’s gambling policy as they were found to have placed bets during the 2022 season. However, this suspension did not deter him from continuing his professional football career.
As the Bills continue to shape their roster and prepare for the upcoming season, Cephus provides depth and experience at the wide receiver position. Fans will undoubtedly be eager to see how he contributes to the team’s offense as they aim for success in the upcoming season.
