The 2024 World’s Strongest Man competition is currently being held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with Tom Stoltman leading the pack after the first day of events. Stoltman, who has won the title twice before in 2021 and 2022, is among a group of 10 strongmen competing for the championship.
On Day 1, the athletes participated in three events: Knaack Giant’s Medley, Max Axle, and Keg Toss. Stoltman tied for first place in the Keg Toss event with five repetitions each, while Mitchell Hooper and Evan Singleton were not far behind. Singleton secured a win in the Knaack Giant’s Medley with a time of 30.21 seconds, while Andrade and Stoltman took second and third place, respectively.
In terms of points, the results from Day 1 were as follows: Stoltman in first place with 26.5 points, Hooper in second with 23.5 points, and Singleton in third with 23 points. The competition was stiff, with each competitor looking to secure their place at the top of the leaderboard.
Moving into the second and final day of the World’s Strongest Man competition, the athletes will face even more challenging events such as Reign Total Body Fuel Conan’s Wheel, BFGoodrich Tires HD Terrain Deadlift and Atlas Stones to determine the overall victor. With a close race between the top contenders like Tom Stoltman and Mitchell Hooper it’s sure to be an intense battle for the coveted title.
