The Kansas City Chiefs will be the next stop on Zay Jones’ free agent tour on Thursday. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jones has scheduled a visit with the Chiefs, which marks the fourth stop on his busy tour this week, after visiting the Titans, Cardinals, and Cowboys.
At 29 years old, Jones has had stints with the Raiders and Bills before joining the Jaguars for two seasons. Last season, injuries limited his production to just 34 catches for 321 yards. However, in 2022 he had a strong showing with 82 catches for 823 yards. He could be a valuable addition to any team’s passing game.
The Chiefs have been looking to bolster their wide receiver position since legal troubles facing last year’s top receiver, Rashee Rice. In the offseason, they signed Hollywood Brown and drafted Xavier Worthy in the first round. Jones could potentially strengthen their receiving corps for the upcoming season.
