The West Virginia University tennis team has been selected to compete in the 2024 UTR Sports NIT Championship, which will take place from May 6-8 in Bradenton, Florida. This marks the first postseason tournament appearance for West Virginia in the history of the program and a significant step forward for the program.
The participating teams in the tournament include Appalachian State, Colorado, Liberty, Pacific, Saint Mary’s, Tulsa, West Virginia, and Wyoming. West Virginia had a successful regular season, achieving its highest number of wins in a season with 14 victories and its first winning season since 2010.
