Maduro-aligned prosecutor attempts to link opposition to scandal

Venezuela’s attorney general, Tarek William Saab, hosted a press conference on Monday to accuse the opposition of corruption at the state-owned oil company PDVSA. Saab named Carlos Ocariz and Julio Borges of the Primero Justicia (PJ) party, as well as two other opposition leaders, Carlos Vecchio and Leopoldo López, of having connections with former Minister of Oil Tareck El Aissami and businessman Samark López, who were recently arrested. He claimed this was not just corruption but a conspiracy against President Nicolás Maduro.

Ocariz was declared ineligible for 15 years by the General Comptroller of Venezuela earlier this year. Diosdado Cabello, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, called for political disqualifications to be accompanied by criminal actions against Venezuelan opponents. Cabello accused the opposition of being involved in the PDVSA-Crypto case and claimed there was a conspiracy against the country.

Julio Borges responded to Saab’s accusations by calling him corrupt and a liar. Leopoldo López accused the Venezuelan dictatorship of trying to divert attention by inventing claims. Both opposition leaders emphasized the importance of unity and voting in the upcoming presidential election in Venezuela.

On a different note, it appears that online gambling and casino sites are becoming increasingly popular among gamblers looking for new ways to win money online. There are various strategies available for winning at these games, including understanding odds, choosing appropriate games, and managing your bankroll effectively. With so many options available online, it can be difficult to choose which platform or casino is right for you. It is essential to do your research before making any decisions about where to play online games or gambling platforms.

Overall, while politics may dominate headlines in Venezuela today, it is important not to lose sight of other important issues that affect people’s lives every day – such as online gaming and gambling strategies.

In conclusion, Venezuela’s attorney general has accused opposition leaders at PDVSA-Crypto case as corrupt individuals involved in a conspiracy against President Nicolás Maduro. The media should continue to provide updates on this ongoing investigation while also highlighting other important issues that affect people’s lives such as online gambling strategies.
