The UT Health San Antonio Police Department is conducting law enforcement training at the Behavioral Health and Wellness Center on Saturday, June 8, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center is located at 5788 Eckhert Road in San Antonio. During the training exercise, there will be an increased police presence in and around the clinic. Members of the community may see a large number of police vehicles, uniformed police officers, and officers in tactical equipment.
The UT Health San Antonio Police Department takes the safety of the university community and the larger San Antonio Medical Center area very seriously. They are committed to preparing their officers to protect the community and appreciate the understanding of the university community as they conduct this training exercise.
