UNM Anderson School Sales Students Shine in Virtual RNMRKS International Role-Play Competition
The UNM Sales and Business Development Center recently saw three of its students excel in the virtual RNMRKS international role-play sales competition held on April 10-11. Eddie Acosta, Andrew Salazar, and AJ Dille achieved second, fourth, and fifth place, respectively. The competition attracted over 1,000 students from 47 universities worldwide.
The scoring system awarded points, with a perfect score being 10,000. Acosta received 9,589; Salazar received 9,571; Dille received 9,542. Associate Professor Dimitri Kapelianis, director of the UNM Sales and Business Development Center, expressed pride in the students’ performance and highlighted the consistent success of Anderson sales students in the competition. He emphasized the talent and dedication present within the program.
Before the competition began, students engaged in dynamic simulations through the RNMKRS app. This app directly impacts their success by providing participants with valuable experience in key selling steps such as introduction, discovery, presentation, objections and concerns, and closing.
