On April 18, 2024, the Thursday prep sports lineup in Jonesboro, Ark. featured a highly anticipated baseball matchup on I-55. Salem also achieved a narrow 2-1 win over Melbourne while Cotter secured an impressive 8-1 victory over Calico Rock. McCrory had a commanding 17-0 win against Conway Christian as well as Gosnell achieving a shutout victory of Harrisburg in their game.
