The Memphis area high school sports top performers for Week 9 of the 2024 season have made outstanding contributions to their teams. On Monday, Jennifer McGregory of Bartlett had two hits in a 10-6 victory over ECS, with Molly Williams going 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Hannah Wilson was the winning pitcher for Bartlett. Lanie Howe of TRA was the winning pitcher, striking out eight in six innings in a 4-0 victory over Millington. Addie Thorpe, Emma Ursery, and Maddie Watkins of TRA also had notable performances with hits and RBIs.
On Tuesday, in baseball, Caleb Doty of Lausanne was the winning pitcher, allowing three hits in five innings, while also going 3-for-3 with three RBIs in a 10-0 victory over ECS. Warner Johnson and Collin Woods, also from Lausanne, had notable performances with two hits each. At Trezevant, Larry Hampton had a standout game
