The upcoming film Captain America: Brave New World is set to hit theaters on February 14, 2025. A sneak peek of the movie has been shared by McDonald’s in a promotional ad featuring Danny Ramirez as the new Falcon. Ramirez first appeared as Joaquín Torres in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series on Disney+, but in the upcoming Captain America film, he will take on the role of Falcon after Sam Wilson passes him his damaged wings in the show’s second-to-last episode.
A Twitter user shared a photo of a McDonald’s tie-in poster featuring Ramirez as the MCU’s new Falcon. He is dressed in a green suit to match the comic book version of the character, along with a helmet and mechanical wings. This is not the first time that Ramirez has played Falcon; he also appeared in a McDonald’s toy ad from Brazil, which included minifigures of various characters, including two versions of Captain America and Red Hulk, hinting at a transformation for Thaddeus Ross.
Marvel Studios shared the first footage of Captain America: Brave New World at CinemaCon 2024, but details about the plot are still largely unknown. The movie will see Falcon and the Star-Spangled Avenger facing off against Red Hulk. While there may be some spoilers to avoid, fans can look forward to seeing how this new iteration of Falcon fits into the MCU storyline.
