Unfortunately, Loncar lost her daughter to suicide in 2016, and she still envisions Grace as a vibrant 16-year-old who would be 23 now.

Through the documentary ‘Losing Grace Finding Hope,’ Loncar is bravely sharing her story and emphasizing that depression does not discriminate and can affect anyone, regardless of outward appearances. She reflects on Grace’s life and the pain of losing her, recalling the day of her daughter’s passing vividly.

The film’s Writer/Producer/Director, Marica Carroll, stresses the importance of addressing the epidemic of suicide and breaking the stigma around discussing mental health. The documentary premiered at the Greenwich International Film Festival and is in contention for a $10,000 Social Impact Grant.
