A recent poll by USA TODAY/Suffolk University revealed that former President Donald Trump is currently leading President Joe Biden in six key swing states, albeit by a slight margin. However, a significant percentage of voters in these states remain undecided about who they will vote for in the upcoming election.
The Wall Street Journal also conducted a poll that corroborated these findings, showing Trump ahead of Biden in states like Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. Trump’s lead ranged from one to six percentage points in these states, with Biden and Trump tied in Wisconsin.
When the poll included other Independent and third-party candidates, Trump maintained his lead in five of the six states, with Biden leading in Wisconsin. The poll was conducted from March 17 to March 24 among 600 registered voters in each state, with a margin of error of plus or minus four percentage points.
In terms of job performance, more voters disapproved of Biden’s performance in all seven states by a significant margin. On the other hand, Trump had more approval than disapproval in Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada
