Tuesday was a busy day for sports, with baseball and softball games taking place on the diamond and pitch. In baseball, Greene County Tech won 4-3 against Paragould, while in softball, Greene County Tech shut out Paragould 10-0. Valley View had a strong showing in baseball, winning 14-2 against Marion, but Marion turned the tables in softball with a 3-2 victory.
Searcy came out on top in both baseball and softball matchups against Nettleton. In baseball, Searcy won 8-4, and in softball, Searcy won 4-3. Batesville dominated West Memphis with a 12-0 win in baseball, but West Memphis bounced back with a 12-2 victory in softball. Walnut Ridge had strong showings in both baseball and softball, winning 12-0 and 11-0 against Mountain View respectively.
