Michael Langman has recently taken on the role of vice president of commercial aerospace & defense sales and business development at SparkCognition. He previously worked as the VP of strategy, sales, and business development for the company’s government systems business. Langman made the announcement of his new position through a LinkedIn post on Friday.
Throughout his career, Langman has gained experience in various roles within the industry. He has worked as a corporate development/M&A executive at the former Rockwell Collins company, a managing director at The McLean Group, and a senior director of corporate business development at Thales’ U.S. business arm. Prior to joining SparkCognition Government Systems, he held the position of vice president at D-Fend Solutions.
Langman’s diverse background and experience make him a valuable addition to the SparkCognition team. In addition to his corporate experience, Langman also served in the U.S. Army for five years before transitioning to the business sector. He reached the rank of captain during his time with the military before making his way into sales and business development roles in aerospace & defense industry.
