Samsung Electronics has recently announced the expansion of Galaxy AI features to a wider range of devices through the One UI 6.1 update. Originally only available on flagship models of the Galaxy S24 series, these advanced AI technologies are now accessible to users of the Galaxy S23, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 series starting in March.
Since its release, there have been 8.8 million downloads of Galaxy AI features, and Samsung expects this number to grow exponentially by the end of 2024 with over 100 million users worldwide benefiting from these features. The positive reception among European users has led Samsung to plan a second phase of rollout in May. This will extend Galaxy AI capabilities to other models such as the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 foldable devices, and the Galaxy Tab S8 series tablets.
Samsung’s commitment to making AI technologies accessible and widely available to its users is evident in this move. It showcases their dedication to innovation and technological accessibility for consumers across different regions and device types. With this update, Samsung is expanding its reach in bringing advanced technologies to more people than ever before.
