Pinball machines from the past can be found in basements all over the country, serving as a reminder of an era that is experiencing a resurgence in popularity. Inspired by these vintage machines, Winona Area Learning Center teacher Matthew Wagner decided to start a new club for his students called the Pinhawk Club. The club’s primary goal is to restore broken pinball machines to working order and then auction off their first fully-restored machine to raise funds for the club’s activities.
