The Tulsa World and Tulsa Tech are hosting a contest to recognize the best mascot, band, cheer squad, dance team, and fan base in the area. Last year, Jenks won all the titles in these categories. In the year before that, Broken Arrow dominated all categories except for mascot, which was won by Rambo from Owasso High School.
If you have a favorite team or individual you would like to nominate for this contest, you can do so by visiting tulsaworld.com/contests/all-world-awards/. Each person can nominate once per category. The top five nominees in each category will move on to the voting round. The winning school will be contacted prior to the event.
The All-World Awards, sponsored by Bill Knight Automotive, celebrate exceptional athletes and coaches in high school sports. This year’s event will take place on June 20 at the Cox Business Center. For more information on how to nominate your favorite team or individual or to purchase tickets for the event, visit allworldawards.com.
