Al Saleh explained that the Ministry of Economy has implemented three laws to regulate and protect industrial property rights, trademarks, copyrights, and related rights. Additionally, they have launched 11 initiatives to support intellectual property applications. These measures have contributed significantly to a national environment that fosters intellectual property activities and innovation, resulting in a substantial increase in patent applications.
The World Intellectual Property Day is celebrated annually on April 26th to raise awareness about national laws related to intellectual works.
