Orange County Health Inspections: Restaurants and Food Vendors Shutdown Due to Pest Infestations

Health Inspectors Shut Down Orange County Restaurants (April 11-18) – Orange County Register

Health inspectors have ordered several restaurants and food vendors in Orange County to close temporarily due to infestations. On April 17, Korea Health Food Soup & Tea in Garden Grove was closed due to a rodent infestation, while El Pollo Loco and Zait & Zaatar in Anaheim were shut down due to a cockroach infestation. Both of these restaurants were able to reopen on April 18.

Nutricion Poderosa in Anaheim was also closed on April 17 due to a cockroach infestation. Mayflower Express in Anaheim was closed on April 11 due to a cockroach infestation, but was able to reopen on April 12. Updates from last week’s list include food sales at Arco station in Garden Grove being allowed to resume on April 12 after a rodent infestation closure on April 8. TOGO’S in Anaheim, which was closed on April 9 due to plumbing issues, was allowed to reopen on April 15.
