Northwood University has been ranked among the top 15 business schools in the nation by Think Advisor, based on the salaries of their graduates. This recognition is a testament to the university’s academic excellence and its ability to prepare students for success in the business world.
According to Dr. Kristin Stehouwer, vice president of academics and provost at Northwood, this ranking is a reflection of the university’s commitment to providing its students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in today’s competitive job market. “Our graduates are highly sought after by employers because they have a strong work ethic and a heightened sense of individual responsibility,” she said.
Northwood University tied for ninth place on the list, with graduates earning $102,700 mid-career, as reported by PayScale. The school takes pride in enabling its graduates to enter the workforce with these impressive salaries. Susie Poli-Smith, vice president of undergraduate enrollment and financial aid at Northwood, shared that many undergraduates go on to attend the DeVos Graduate School to further invest in their education and distinguish themselves from others in today’s workforce.
PayScale considers a “business school” to be a college that grants more than half of its undergraduate degrees in business-related fields such as accounting, finance, and marketing. The median salaries shown are specific to graduates with business-related majors and do not represent the salaries of all graduates from the school who may have earned only bachelor’s degrees. Overall, this ranking is a testament to Northwood University’s commitment to academic excellence and preparing students for success in today’s competitive job market.
