The Northeastern Varsity Eight has been named the CAA Boat of the Week for the 2024 season. The crew, led by Camille Arnold-Mages as Cox and Isla Bathgate as Stroke, earned a fourth-place finish in the Grand Final of the Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond. Despite finishing behind No. 7, No. 13, and No. 19 teams in the country, Northeastern was ahead of Boston University and Dartmouth.
On Apr. 2, Northeastern won their heat in 6:55.658 and advanced to the Grand Final, where they defeated No. 19 Columbia, URI, Michigan State, Marist, and Colgate. The crew crossed the finish line in 7:02.588 during the Grand Final race.
