In Willmar, Minnesota, a 72-year-old man was arrested by police after allegedly threatening to open fire inside a business. Just after 2 p.m., a 911 call reported the man’s threat, prompting the police to respond to the business on South First Street. Despite reports of a gun, the man was arrested without one on his person.
According to witnesses, the man had previously visited the business and threatened to return with a firearm. He hailed from Danube, located about 25 miles south of Willmar. The man was taken into custody at the Kandiyohi County Jail but has not been charged with any crime as of yet.
