Nintendo has announced that they will be revealing their new game console, the successor to the Nintendo Switch, sometime during this fiscal year. This news comes alongside a new Nintendo Direct event set for June, where they will discuss the games coming to the current hardware in the second half of the year.
The original Nintendo Switch was introduced in 2015 and released two years later. Subsequent updates included models with longer battery life and an OLED screen. The introduction of the portable-only Switch Lite added variety to the lineup.
